Now go to the search bar on Google maps and right click and paste in the box the numbers you copied. Now move the cursor to the digits and the left click the mouse, you'll see at the bottom of the the maps " Copied to clipboard ". A box pops up and you'll see multiple digits. If you want to find a place in Basecamp, it's not the easiest thing to do, however the other week I stumbled across a tutorial about Basecamp, and in this tutorial there's a dead easy way to find a place, using Google maps.Īll you do to locate the place that you're having trouble finding in Basecamp is to go to Google maps, zoom in to the place you want to go to, or waypoint, and then right click the mouse. I don't know if this will be of any use to users of Garmin's Basecamp, I have certainly found it very useful, knowing how crap the search engine is, and the not too easy to use Basecamp, in general.
